Requirements - Educational background D3/D4, Bachelor's degree - Have experience as Avionics - MRO background, and experience in aircraft is a plus - Have Certification in Aircraft Avionics approved by DCA or applicable regulatory body is a plus - Know the basic understanding of airworthiness requirements to perform airworthiness functions Responsibilities - Ensure that all avionics equipment is functioning properly before takeoff and does not interfere with other electronic devices - Provide accurate diagnosis of avionics problems - Keep detailed records of all repairs and work done on the aircraft - Coordinate all work with technicians, and aircraft maintenance staff - Remove, repair, and reinstall problematic avionics equipment before the aircraft is cleared for takeoff
