- Understanding of coffee basics, including coffee origins, processing methods, and roasting profiles. - Familiarity with cupping protocols and flavor profiling is a plus. - Quick learner with strong initiative to take on tasks independently. - Detail-oriented and efficient in handling multiple responsibilities. - Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, such as lifting coffee bags (up to 30kg). - Male, maximum age of 30 years. - Cooperative and able to work effectively in a small, focused team. - Willingness to communicate and coordinate with the Roastery Lead and other team members. - Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment and open to learning new skills related to coffee roasting. - Ability to adapt to various tasks, from operating roastery equipment to assisting with inventory management. - Assist the Roastery Lead in daily roasting operations, including preparing coffee beans for roasting and monitoring roasting equipment. - Perform quality control checks, such as cupping sessions, to ensure consistency in roasted coffee. - Handle inventory management tasks, including receiving, storing, and organizing green coffee beans. - Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of roastery equipment and workspace. - Support the development of new coffee profiles and blends. - Assist in packaging and labeling roasted coffee for orders.
