B&W ID Asst. Engineering Manager for Utility, Building & Environment

Main Responsibilities - Ensure the operation of utility plants is fully compliant with applicable legislation, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and quality standards. - Support the planning, scheduling, and prioritization of maintenance activities within the utility plant, building facilities, and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure optimal asset performance. - Develop and implement maintenance strategies and operational excellence initiatives to ensure high energy efficiency and utility cost competitiveness. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across utility operations while supporting sustainability and energy-efficiency programs. - Improve equipment performance by reducing downtime, eliminating minor stops, and enhancing equipment reliability and availability. - Ensure the availability of critical spare parts and consumables while optimizing inventory levels to balance operational reliability and cost efficiency. - Maintain compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental requirements. - Promote a proactive safety culture by identifying risks, implementing preventive measures, and ensuring safe operation of utility and facility systems. - Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to utility reliability, maintenance effectiveness, energy consumption, and operational efficiency. Requirements - Experience & Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline - Working knowledge of utility operations and maintenance principles. However, fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. - Proven ability to manage complex and high-risk operations safely and effectively. - Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, field-oriented approach. - Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
