Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to manage and report on all data requests related to sales, revenue, and platform performance. This role will be critical in providing insights into both financial and platform metrics, helping the organisation make data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, financial reporting, and platform analytics. Key Responsibilities Data Request Management: • Handle and fulfill all data requests from various departments, including sales, finance, and product teams. • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and relevance. • Prioritize data requests based on business needs and deadlines. Financial Performance Reporting: • Compile and analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability metrics. • Create detailed financial reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders. • Monitor key financial performance indicators and provide actionable insights. Platform Performance Analysis: • Track and analyze platform performance metrics, including user activity, engagement, and transaction volumes. • Generate regular reports on financial and platform health. • Collaborate with operations and product teams to identify areas for improvement based on data insights. Data Visualization & Reporting: • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to present data in an accessible and impactful manner. • Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders. • Ensure all reports are timely, accurate, and tailored to the audience's needs. Cross-functional Collaboration: • Work closely with finance, product, and sales teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. • Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven analysis and reporting. • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align data reporting with business goals. Process Improvement: • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis processes. • Implement best practices in data management and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Stay updated on industry trends and tools to continuously improve data analysis and reporting capabilities. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. • Min 2-3 Years experience • Proven experience in data analysis, financial reporting, and platform performance tracking. • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI). • Familiarity with financial metrics and reporting standards. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with cross-functional teams. • Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a tech or SaaS company.
