Electrical Engineer Hotel

As a Hotel Engineer at PT Kayu Mebel Indonesia, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation and efficient functioning of all the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This full-time position is based in Bali and plays a crucial role in ensuring the hotel's infrastructure and facilities meet the highest standards of safety and comfort for our guests.

What you'll be doing:

1. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other hotel systems

2. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner

3. Coordinating with external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance tasks

4. Ensuring all hotel equipment and systems are in compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards

5. Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy-efficient practices to reduce the hotel's environmental impact

6. Providing technical support and advice to hotel management and staff on maintenance-related matters

7. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and the hotel's asset inventory

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Hotel Engineer or in a similar technical role within the hospitality industry

2. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other hotel mechanical systems

3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure

5. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and building codes

6. Good communication and customer service skills to liaise with hotel staff and guests

7. A team-player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

8. Certification or training in hotel engineering or a relevant technical discipline is preferred
