Event Host and Brand Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and sociable Events Host who is looking to challenge themselves and push themselves to ensure Social Expat continues to be the leader of expatriate platforms, both locally and internationally. You will work within a team that includes social media and videography specialists, content writers and event coordinators. • You will be responsible for organizing quality events weekly, hosting the events and helping sell advertising space and sponsorship deals. • You will report directly to the Country Manager and CEO with updates and targets, so applicants must be confident in relaying information and providing accurate reporting. • This role will require someone with creativity, initiative, and the ability to connect with people. The right candidate will be responsible for growing Social Expat's presence and ensuring its success in Jakarta and Bali. The main responsibilities include: 1. Hosting weekly events across greater Jakarta. 2. Attend and organize afterparties. 3. Assist and organize unofficial events. 4. Help accrue event sponsors and brand sponsors. 5. Coordinate event speakers and thought leaders to present at our events. 6. Handle both inbound and outbound inquiries. 7. Increase advertising revenue. 8. Increase guest numbers and reputation. 9. Create partnerships with other local and international brands. 10. Expand and develop our membership packages. 11. Manage the Social Expat team to ensure they are fulfilling their roles satisfactorily. 12. Provide monthly finance reporting. 13. Ensure the social media is developing and being professionally maintained. 14. Create and maintain sales materials. 15. Network at both our events and external events. 16. Help arrange external events and attend. Requirements: • Social and outgoing personality with strong networking skills. • Speak English fluently, you will conversed a lot with expat. • Creativity and ability to promote and sell advertising space. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Have passion for community building and creating memorable experiences. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges.
