Job description : - Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded - Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports - Examine statements to ensure accuracy - Ensure that statements and records comply with laws and regulations - Organize and maintain financial records - Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned - Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, ensure prompt payment - Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed - Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports - Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings - Improve businesses efficiency where money is concerned - Make best-practices recommendations to management - Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues and improve profits - Provide auditing services for businesses and individuals Requirements : - Proven experience in the same position - Experience in F&B company is a plus - Excellent organizing abilities - Able to lead people/ team - An analytical mind and great attention to detail - Strong interpersonal and communication skill - Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen - Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships - Commercial and business awareness - Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints - Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices - Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP) - Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
