As the R&D Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our menu offerings, ensuring product quality, and driving innovation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of new products, from concept to launch, and will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution. Key Responsibilities: • Product Development: Lead the development of new menu items, ensuring they align with our brand and meet customer expectations. This includes research, concept creation, recipe development, testing, and finalization. • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings. Use insights to inform product development and innovation strategies. • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Work with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and ensure consistency across all locations. • Collaboration: Collaborate with the culinary team, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product launches. Provide training and support to staff on new products and menu changes. • Cost Management: Monitor product costs and work with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms. Ensure that new products are cost-effective and contribute to profitability. • Food Production Scheme: Create from WIP, Storage, Handling, and Food Processing standards for new menu. • Product Performance: Gather and analyze data from ERP on products. Use insights to make necessary adjustments and improve overall products experience and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts. • Strong culinary skills and a passion for Peranakan cuisine. • Have minimal 2 year experience in the same position or F&B industry. • Maximum 30 years old. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Good cooking skill, understanding in ingredients, food process, inventory and flavour. • Strong in analytical, numerical skill and management. • Have a wide knowledge about Nusantara & Peranakan dishes. • Willing to work mobile area Jakarta.
