General Ledger (GL) Staff

Jobdesc:

• Process and verify employee and project cash advance and reimbursement requests, and prepare related journal entries for submission, disbursement, settlement, and payment transactions.

• Prepare journal entry for recurring and non-recurring journal entries including accruals, reversals, settlements, and and other month-end and year-end adjustments.

• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare necessary adjustment entries for outstanding reconciling items Prepare and post accrual, reversal, and actual journal entries for Warehouse and Distribution Center (DC) operational expenses Calculate sales commissions and internship allowances, and prepare related journal entries to support accurate monthly financial reporting.

• Prepare revenue sharing reports to support rental expense calculations and payments to landlords. Prepare and post journal entries for marketing-related purchase orders, promotional expenses, and corporate credit card transactions.

• Perform marketing cost allocations from Head Office cost pools to stores in accordance with the company's allocation methodology.

• Collect and verify invoices and receipts for business entertainment expenses Participate in accounting system migration activities, including data preparation, validation, reconciliation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation worksheets and supporting schedules to ensure account balances are accurate, complete, and properly supported. Provide ad hoc request by internal stakeholders and auditors.
