IT Application Officer

Job Description - Manage and support business applications their lifecycle to ensure system availability, performance, and continuous improvement. - Analyze business requirements and deliver application solutions, enhancements, and system integrations that support business operations. - Provide Level 2 application support by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely resolution. - Monitor application performance, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure system security, stability, backup, and recovery processes. - Collaborate with business users on requirements gathering, implementation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and post-implementation support. - Manage user access, maintain application documentation, and ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and audit requirements. - Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and user experience. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting Information System, or a related field. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Application Support, Business Applications, ERP, or a similar role, including at least two end-to-end ERP or enterprise system implementations. - Strong knowledge of SDLC, SQL, ERP/business applications, and system integration. - Experience in application troubleshooting, UAT, vendor management, and stakeholder collaboration. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - ITIL Foundation or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
