Legal Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research on various issues affecting the organisation, including but not limited to corporate law, employment law, intellectual property law, and contract management.

• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, company policies and agreements.

• Assist the preparation of legal strategies and arguments for litigations and other legal proceedings.

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of legal matters to the stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to company’s operation, assist in developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance.

• Assist the management of legal documentation and records.

• Collaborate with external legal counsel if necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Law, or any related fields that relevant to the position

• 3+ years experience working in legal role, preferably in corporate or law firm environment

• Strong understanding of legal procedures and policies

• Solid understanding of contract laws, corporate law and regulatory compliance

• Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concept concisely.

• Ability to work independently and as part of the team

• Attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive information with discretion.

• Proficient in legal research tools and databases is a plus

• Proficient  in English both verbal and written
