Makerspace Teacher

As a Makerspace Teacher, you will be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge technology and creative skills into our school curriculum. You will work directly with students to explore and create a variety of projects. Your role will not only involve technical teaching but also inspiring and motivating students to think beyond the box, solve problems, and collaborate on innovative projects.

Your responsibilities will include designing a dynamic and relevant makerspace curriculum that helps students develop essential 21st-century skills like problem-solving, creativity, and technical proficiency. You will create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and experimentation, and collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate makerspace learning with other subjects.

Responsibility :

• Teach and facilitate makerspace activities for Elementary and Middle School students, including the use of tools and technologies.

• Guide students in creative and innovative projects that support the curriculum and their interests.

• Design and develop engaging makerspace curricula that align with the latest technological advancements.

• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

• Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate makerspace learning with other subjects.

Qualification :

• Bachelor's degree In Education, Technology, Engineering, Design or a related field.

• Experience in education/or makerspace enviroments is a plus.

• Proficiency in using various makerspace tools and technologies.

• Strong communication and interpesonal and inspire students.

• Adaptive to rapidly changing technology and educational needs.
