About Us:

We are Kitar, a fast-growing and innovative tech startup dedicated to second-hand mobile phone recycling and selling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

a. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.

b. Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

c. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

d. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

2. Accounting, Reporting and Taxation

a. Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial entries.

b. Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

c. Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports (e.g., PPN, PPh) in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.

d. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with PSAK and SAK.

e. Help with the following accounting tasks for our Singaporean entity

3. Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll records submitted by vendors

4. Audit Support: Assist with external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements:

1. S1 or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in ecommerce

2. Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or accounting software

4. Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including PPN (Value-Added Tax) and PPh (Income Tax).

5. Proficiency in PSAK and familiarity with SAK

6. Experience with e-Tax filing systems like DJP Online and e-SPT

7. Strong understanding of Indonesian banking and payment systems, including e-wallet platforms

8. Prior experience in bookkeeping for a Singapore-registered company is a plus
