Mandarin Translator

We are seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to join our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners. Based in our Jakarta office, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient translation services to support our business operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Translate a wide range of documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, from Mandarin to English and vice versa

• Interpret during meetings, conference calls, and other business interactions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

• Ensure consistency and accuracy in translations, maintaining the integrity of the original content

• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to understand context and requirements for each translation project

• Proactively identify and resolve any language or cultural barriers to facilitate effective communication

• Accompany Project Directors on daily operational work

What we're looking for:

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to translate seamlessly between the two languages (reading, writing, speaking)

• Proven experience as a professional translator, preferably in a business or corporate setting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistently high-quality translations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle a range of translation requests
