Procurement Specialist

Job Descriptions:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQ, supplier evaluation, purchase order issuance, delivery monitoring, and documentation.

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, capacity, and delivery performance.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct vendor performance evaluations, and support long-term partnerships.

• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve the best value for the company. Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, pricing benchmarks, and sourcing strategies.

• Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, Warehouse, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure timely procurement.

• Prepare procurement reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with audit and governance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement for construction projects, preferably in marine construction.

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, and delivery coordination.

• Knowledge of technical materials related to construction or marine projects is an advantage. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/SAP is an advantage.

• Confident in presenting to management and communicating effectively in English, both written and spoken.
