Purchasing and Export Specialist

Job Description =

1 – Mission: Administrative

• Manage FLEGT submission to system.

• Maintain purchase records in system.

2 – Mission: Supplier liaison

• Build and maintain relationships and good communication with suppliers.

• Checking customs documents from supplier such as commercial invoice, packing list, Fumigation, FLEGT or VLegal, Sea Waybill or Bill of Lading.

• Purchase goods with specified delivery targets (Leadtime, quantity, price).

• Monitoring purchase orders to meet delivery targets.

• Manage and provide effective monitoring of the supplier’s performance through evaluation report (quarterly performance report and monthly penalty report).

• Monitor Suppliers to send booking of vessel to Forwarder with the good delivery date.

• Be the key person for communication between supplier, Transport team and Customs Broker at Destination

3 – Mission: Data Analysis

• Contribute to the procurement session by presenting analysis results based on shared information from both Sourcing and Quality team.

• Create frequent reports to highlight issues and find opportunity to improve tools and process.

4 – Mission: Internal liaison

• Maintain strong relationship with local team and Head Office to gather information to prevent and anticipate potential issues at suppliers/vendors.

• Participate in weekly meeting with the Global Procurement team.

Requirements =

• Have experience on purchase goods with specified delivery targets (Leadtime, quantity, price).

• Understanding the Export and Import processes, requirements, and legal documentation needed for international trade.

• Comfortable with data analysis, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in English at a business level.
