- Check and verify purchase requests and orders from users and clients. - Prepare purchase orders in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System and send copies to vendors. - Contact vendors to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. - Sourcing new potential vendors. - Identify and establish relationships with new vendors or alternative vendors to fulfill project and user needs. - Create and send purchase orders to suppliers, and request price quotes from potential suppliers to get the best deals. - Responsible for maintaining and updating the SCM database, including managing vendor and material lists.
