Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering,
preferably Mechanical Engineering, Naval
Architecture, or a related field.
* Must possess a valid International Welding
Engineer (IWE) certification.
* Relevant welding engineering experience,
preferably in a shipyard, is preferred. Fresh
graduates are welcome to apply.
* Good command of English, both written
and spoken.
* Good understanding of welding processes,
inspection methods, and relevant welding
standards/codes.
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills,
and the ability to work effectively in a team
and dynamic project environment
Job description:
* Oversee and verify all welding activities to ensure
full compliance with established procedures
(WPS/PQR).
* Conduct visual welding inspections and monitor
welding activities to ensure compliance with
approved procedures and quality standards.
* Prepare comprehensive welding reports and
technical documentation regarding compliance
with international standards.
* Provide expert technical guidance on welding
processes, material selection, and troubleshooting
* Conduct WQT and coordinate with the Class
Society.
* Maintain WQT certificates along with continuity
records.
