Retail Buyer

PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia (LOTTE Grosir) and PT Lotte Mart Indonesia (LOTTE Mart) are looking for a Local Buyer Fresh Food has a strong retail merchandising background within Fresh Food (Fruit, Vegetable, Meat & Poultry, Fish) achieve the best results for the company's business and the category.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess the commercial performance of the current Fresh Food range, tracking market trends and identifying new growth opportunities.

• Evaluate current price points, margin performance, competitor price positioning, and retailer margins against market benchmarks.

• Negotiate supplier trading terms and agreements effectively to meet or exceed financial targets.

• Identify and secure reliable sources of product supply, conducting thorough research on suppliers relevant to specific product categories.

• Measure, monitor, and evaluate supplier performance regarding service and quality, conducting regular supplier reviews as required.

• Manage the end-to-end tender process where applicable.

• Maintain all documentation, records, and administration relating to the procurement process.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with Minimum of 3 years experience in a trading and buying environment within the Fresh Food Product.

• Excellent Negotiation and Persuasive Selling Skills a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors is a plus.

• Knowledge of purchasing and forecasting systems.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work with speed and accuracy.

• Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and MS Office.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), and excellent relationship building skills.

• This position will be based in one of the following locations: Head Office (Jakarta Timur),
  Store Surabaya, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Samarinda, or Manado.
