About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Runner to join the team at Shishi Izakaya Lounge & Nightclub in Seminyak, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site at our vibrant venue in the heart of Seminyak. As Club Runner, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the club and delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. This role is pivotal to maintaining our reputation as a premier hospitality destination and requires someone with strong leadership capabilities and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee daily club operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Supervise and coordinate waiting staff and other front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service delivery

• Monitor guest experience throughout the evening, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally

• Manage reservation systems and guest flow to optimise capacity and enhance overall guest satisfaction

• Conduct regular briefings with staff to communicate service standards, special events and operational updates

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations at all times

• Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate service timing and quality standards

• Handle cash handling and basic financial reconciliation as required

• Maintain detailed records of incidents, guest feedback and operational metrics

• Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive and professional work environment

• Respond to guest requests and special requirements with creativity and professionalism
