Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities - Design and develop reliable, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs. - Contribute to solution architecture to ensure business alignment, ease of development and maintenance. - Continuously improve developer experience through high coding standards and optimized ways of working. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for provisioning and managing cloud resources. - Optimize CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy backend services reliably and efficiently. - Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of backend systems. - Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team to deliver high quality technical solutions. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar, or equivalent relevant work experience. - 5+ years of backend development experience with strong focus on .NET in C#. - Proven experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD technologies. - Proven experience with building ecommerce solutions for either B2B or B2C. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. - Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code and ideally hands on experience with Terraform. - Proficiency in managing Azure Cloud infrastructure, deploying, and operating backend services. - Experience using observability tools (e.g., Datadog). - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker. - Experience working within Agile development methodologies. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. - Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. - Proactive, pragmatic and solution oriented mindset; adaptable to diverse business environments. - Collaborative team player committed to delivering high quality outcomes and fostering knowledge sharing.
