Menjadi Pastry Cook
As a Pastry Cook, you will be working in the pastry unit for Café Rambutan and AmiMart at the Amisewaka-DLCC campus. Your role includes supplying pastries for Café Rambutan and producing bread and pastries for AmiMart, which operates on Saturdays and Sundays in Desa Les, Tejakula. Café Rambutan and AmiMart are business units that support Yayasan Adi Sewaka Widya and Amisewaka-DLCC by contributing to their operational costs.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pastry and Bakery Production

• Prepare, bake, and decorate various pastries, cakes, bread, and desserts following recipes and quality standards.

• Produce pastries for restaurant service and AmiMart sales.

• Develop creative ideas for new menu items or modify existing recipes.

• Ensure that all products meet the required taste, texture, and presentation standards.

• Maintain cleanliness in the pastry and kitchen work area.

• Uphold high-quality standards for all products.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Education and Experience

• Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent (culinary or pastry education preferred).

• At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role.

2. Technical Skills

• Proficient in basic and advanced pastry-making techniques.

• Strong knowledge of pastry ingredients and their uses.

• Able to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and cake decorating tools.

• Capable of making various pastries and cakes without food enhancers, preservatives, or artificial coloring.

Work Hours: • Flexible, including holidays and weekends as needed. • Initially, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
