Head Chef Catering

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop innovative, customized menus for various catering events, ensuring alignment with client preferences and Oma Elly's culinary standards.

2. Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes, ensuring exceptional taste, quality, and aesthetic appeal.

3. Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to recipes, and maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment.

4. Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring compliance with all relevant health regulations.

5. Manage food inventory and costs, ensuring budget adherence without compromising quality.

6. Coordinate with Sales team to understand the client's specific needs and preferences, providing expert guidance to ensure satisfaction.

7. Collaborate with event planners and service staff to ensure seamless execution of catering services.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a catering environment.

2. Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.

3. Experienced in Western, Italian, Indonesian, Asian, and various types of cuisines.

4. Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse kitchen team effectively.

5. Demonstrated creativity in menu planning and presentation.

6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and understand their needs.

7. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple events simultaneously.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client requirements.
