Local SEO Optimizer Intern

Resposibilities

• Conduct local keyword research and analyze search trends relevant to the business and target locations.

• Assist in optimizing and maintaining Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business), including updating business information, writing descriptions, and publishing regular posts.

• Monitor and update business listings across various local directories.

• Perform NAP (Name, Address, Phone) audits to ensure consistency across all platforms.

• Track local SEO performance metrics such as local rankings, map pack visibility, and local organic traffic.

• Assist in review management efforts, including monitoring customer reviews and generating insights from feedback.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts, particularly Local SEO (training and guidance will be provided).

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Familiar with using Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Business Profile.

• Strong online research skills and analytical thinking.Comfortable working with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).

• Detail-oriented and well-organized with good time management skills.

• Eagerness to learn more about digital marketing and grow in the SEO field.
