Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

At least 3 – 4 year work experience as a Database Administrator (middle  - senior level).

Experience in Oracle Database environment (Installation, Design & Configuration, Performance Fine Tuning, Backup / RMAN Scripting, Disaster Recovery Setup, Clustering / RAC, Replication and failover using Dataguard / Golden Gate)

Good knowledge in Linux RHEL environment / ability to conduct basic configuration / troubleshooting such as customizing file permission, mount point, cronjob, resource monitoring, security hardening etc

Prefer to have experience using other Oracle Technology such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Web Logic, etc

Prefer to have Oracle Certification (OCA / OCP)

Familiarity with Backup Software Commvault or Veritas Netbackup

Knowledge of shell scripting & automation,

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
