- Responsible for preparing and cooking menu items as per the recipes and guidelines. - Assist in the food preparation process under the guidance of the cook. - May assist in basic food preparation and support kitchen operations. - Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils. - Follow hygiene and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during meal service. - Stewards: Assist in maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment. - Ensure that food items meet quality standards and are presented appealingly. - Follow recipes and portion control guidelines for consistency in taste and presentation. - Responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using automatic machine. - Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area, including disposal of waste and cleaning of surfaces. - Assist kitchen staff in various tasks, such as food preparation and basic cooking activities. - Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and heavy kitchen equipment. - Willing to work a split shift and adapt to a flexible work schedule as needed.
