HR Manager (Indonesia - New Market Setup)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ⁠Ensure compliance with Indonesian employment laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Manage work passes (KITAS), immigration matters, and expatriate employment compliance.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and governance frameworks.

  • Lead statutory registrations, reporting, and compliance matters, including BPJS, JKP/JHT/JP, PPh 21, and other government-related requirements.

  • Liaise with government agencies, regulatory authorities, external consultants, and legal advisors on employment and compliance matters.

  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk management initiatives.

  • Set up and maintain HR administration processes, employee records, and HR systems to ensure compliance and data integrity.

  • Advise management and operational teams on employment regulations, disciplinary matters, employee relations cases, and HR best practices.

  • Partner closely with the HR Operations team to ensure HR processes are aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Support organizational growth by monitoring regulatory changes and implementing necessary compliance measures

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, which must include a background in F&B, retail, or a multi-outlet business environment.

  • Standalone Capability: Proven experience in setting up HR departments and frameworks from scratch. Must be highly comfortable working independently as a standalone HR professional without an immediate local team.

  • Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding and practical knowledge of Indonesian labor law (UU Ketenagakerjaan) and dispute resolution processes.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory for constant reporting and cross-border
